1. BUYER INFORMATION

The buyer is Jalometallikeskus Pohjola (hereinafter referred to as "Jalometallikeskus") Business ID 2494243-0. Jalometallikeskus buy scrap gold and other precious metals in various forms such as gold bars, coins, rings, jewelery, gold and other objects.

2. CONCEPT

A customer is a person who enters into a contract for the sale of precious metals and owns items offered for sale, accepts a bid and receives the purchase price. By Jalometallikeskus is meant a buyer who purchases precious metals from the customer in the form of scrap gold or other material specified in the contract. Sales package means a combination of a sales agreement, a security bag and a return envelope, which the customer can order for a single transaction. Sales agreement means the contract sent by Jalometallikeskus to the customer on the basis of an order and returned by the customer to Jalometallikeskus in its entirety. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the sales agreement shall cover all trading terms between the parties. Articles are the items that the customer sends to Jalometallikeskus for evaluation and execution of the transaction in accordance with the sales agreement.

3. CUSTOMER

The customer must be at least 18 years of age and have control over himself and his property. He or she must be the legal owner of the goods sold and the customer must have the unlimited right to transfer ownership of the object with all its rights to Jalometallikeskus. The customer must have a Finnish bank account and the account must be in the customer's name. By following the sales agreement, the customer guarantees that it is the right owner for the items sold and that it meets the customer's conditions above.

4. SALES PACKAGE

If the customer wants to sell scrap gold or other articles containing precious metal, the customer orders via the Jalometallikeskus.fi website or by telephone, a sales package containing sales instructions, the sales agreement, the security bag and the insurance cover for the item.

The return shipping is insured up to 5,000 €. The insurance is valid for the duration of the delivery and ends when the shipment is received. If a customer wants to sell higher value gold, please contact our customer service in advance. Jalometallikeskus has the right to refuse to buy items if the shipment is damaged, opened, modified or incorrectly closed or if the contract has been completed in contravention of the instructions. When buying gold or other precious metals, the stones are separated from the objects during the evaluation and Jalometallikeskus is not responsible for damage to the objects caused by this separation. Jewelery, gold bars, chains, coins, etc. whose authenticity is suspected are investigated by cutting or breaking metal and analyzed with acids.

5. BUYER OFFER AND PAYMENT

Jalometallikeskus analyzes and evaluates the value of the object. When the valuation is complete, Jalometallikeskus will submit a bid to the customer. The bid shall be based on the daily market price, weight and metal content of the precious metal. Only that part of precious metal is weighed and stones and any fillers removed from the articles for weighing. Once the customer has accepted the purchase offer, payment will be made to the customer's bank account and the ownership of the items will be transferred to the buyer.

6. REFUSAL OF OFFER AND RETURN OF ARTICLES

If the customer does not accept the offered purchase price, Jalometallikeskus will return the items to the customer. Jalometallikeskus is not responsible for damage that may result from analysis and testing of returned items. When goods are sent to the customer as regular mail, the customer is responsible for any damage that the items may have from the shipment. At the customer's request, Jalometallikeskus can return the articles as post-insured items, in which case the customer will be charged postage.

7. RETURN OF OBJECTS NOT INCLUDING GOLD

You can recover gold-free items by notifying us that you wish. If the customer asks to return the gold-free items with post-insured items, the postage will be charged without.

8. PERSONAL DATA MANAGEMENT

Jalometallikeskus maintains a customer register that is used to maintain, manage and market your customer relationship as described in this privacy statement. By entering into a sales agreement, the customer agrees to and approves the processing of their personal data as described above.

9. ABUSE AND PREVENTION OF ABUSE

Jalometallikeskus has the right to report crimes to police authorities for misuse, handling of stolen goods, fraud and their attempts, and to provide the police with the necessary information about completed and canceled transactions. Jalometallikeskus shall exercise this right to the extent deemed necessary by the police. To prevent abuse, the Jalometallikeskus can document the items delivered to it and open the shipments, and record the conversations with the customer. These recordings will be used by Jalometallikeskus in an appropriate manner to detect misconduct.

10. LIABILITY AND LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES

The liability of Jalometallikeskus shall be governed by mandatory law. It is the customer's responsibility to prove the damage sustained quantitatively and to limit the amount of damage suffered. Jalometallikeskus shall not be liable for damage caused by force majeure. An unforeseeable circumstance or change of circumstances which is beyond the control of Jalometallikeskus and which cannot reasonably be avoided or overcome shall be considered as force majeure. Jalometallikeskus is obliged to notify the customer as soon as possible of the case of force majeure. The Customer shall be liable to the Precious Metals Center for any damages and costs incurred by the Customer as a result of its breach of contract or any other negligent or fraudulent conduct.

11. APPLICABLE LAW, SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTES AND JURISDICTION

The contract between Jalometallikeskus and the customer is governed by Finnish law. The customer must always contact Jalometallikeskus customer service and seek an amicable solution to any issues related to the contract and its conclusion. In the event of a disagreement between the Precious Metals Center and the customer, which the parties cannot reach by amicable settlement, they may, if they so wish, take the matter to the District Court. The case will then be heard in the Helsinki District Court and in Finnish, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
